The Lean Practice Coach

Do the right things. Do things right.

Typical Contract Provisions

What does a contract with The Lean Practice Coach look like? (In other words, what does it cost?)

Typical Contract:

1.       At no charge to you, one or two members of The Lean Practice Coach staff will perform an assessment of your practice in a two to four hour visit, depending on the size of the practice.

2.       A written report of the assessment will be provided to you.  It will include our predictions of the areas that have the largest prospective improvements based on our observations.

3.       Along with the written report, we will also provide an estimate for a Not-To-Exceed agreement (see description below).

4.       We guarantee a minimum potential annual savings of 4 times the cost of the Hourly Not-To-Exceed contract.  That is a payback of 3 months. The reason we do not guarantee actual annual savings is for two reasons; they involve substantial resources to monitor and determine and the Doctor may decide not to implement any or all of the recommendations.  Having said that, we will provide a worksheet with the recommendations and probable savings, which we (LPC and the Doctor) will agree upon.

5.       If you accept the agreement, we start off with several full day observation visits to develop the overall implementation plan for your approval.

6.       We work with you and your staff to implement the changes and monitor the results.  For a single Dentist, two hygienists, 5-6 chair office, you should expect the overall time from the initial assessment to the end of the agreement to take 2 months and involve 6 to 8 visits by us to your office and cost $10,000 to $15,000 for an Daily Not-To-Exceed type of agreement.

We work under very flexible contract arrangements that can be tailored to your preferences.

Not-To-Exceed: We can work on a daily fee basis to do as much or as little as you want us to do.  We will quote the number of days we expect a service to take and guarantee a not-to-exceed price.   If it takes longer, it’s our problem.  If it takes less time, you pay only for the days used.   The rate for this type of contract is $1500/day. including travel time and expenses marked up 10%.
